True Christianity is not merely believing truths about God but living in loving nearness to Him, tasting the joy Adam and Eve once knew in the garden and the glory believers will share forever.
This session highlights one of the grand purposes of redemption—to draw God’s people into deep intimacy with Him. Redemption is not only forgiveness from sin but restoration into God’s presence, restoring mankind’s original privilege of walking with God. From Eden’s fellowship (Genesis 3:8) to the temple, tabernacle, priesthood, and ultimately the indwelling Spirit, Scripture reveals a divine plan to bring humanity back into joyful communion with their Creator.
Through the imagery of God visiting Adam and Eve, His dwelling among Israel, and His Spirit living within believers, Scripture paints a compelling picture: God desires to be near His people. The temple and priesthood foreshadowed this intimacy, but the New Covenant fully realizes it—believers are now God’s temple, and Christ dwells within us (1 Corinthians 3:16; 2 Corinthians 6:16). This fellowship is personal, joyful, and transformative.
