Seeking Truth — Pray BFF

Dear Prayer Partners,

BFF’s focus is: “Releasing God’s truth to a new generation!” Our generations have changed, but we need to stay vibrant and alert, to stay attuned, to help each new generation grow in their faith in God.

My articles on AI (Artificial Intelligence) and our Christian faith from 2 Peter 1 are my latest two series. Tucker had an interesting interview with Elon Musk, who kicked off AI learning modules. The two talked about how AI was taken over and ‘brainwashed.’ They laughed as they admitted how it “lies.”

Musk now announced a new AI learning module that is to “understand reality.” This is a great blessing to Christians, who walk in the truth (3 John 3). You might wonder why I am discussing this. BFF brings out the power of the truth in our lives. The more that truth shapes our lives, the better our lives, marriages, families, and societies will be. BFF’s many books and articles make known many essential truths relevant to our lives. The more we live them out, the more God is honored. (This differs significantly from self-help methodologies.)

Thanks to God’s guidance and grace, I'm still attempting to complete a book on a most believed-in truth, but one that the church, as a whole, does not follow. They think it’s true for heaven but not for earth. Writing is a spiritual battle. If it weren’t for God’s daily injections of grace in my time with Him, I would have given up long ago. Pray that I not only finish but that the church might live alive to this commonly held truth!

• “Abiding in Christ” paperback is now available from our BFF bookstore!
• Linda has generally felt well despite her heart condition (more below).
• We thank the Lord for a little extra financial support. (Keep praying!)

Pray

• Since Linda’s heart still functions at what doctors say is failure mode (20-25%EF), the plan is to implant a defibrillator in September. We are still praying for complete healing. The implant does not make the heart better but might keep her alive if her heart fails.
• Although Paul can’t travel overseas with the need to be near Linda, he is glad for an upcoming Zoom training for pastors in India (different from the former group).  Translation of the slides into Telugu is now in process. The teaching schedule is not yet settled.
• Pray for Jagannath, the leader of KMM India ministries, trying to spread the vision to reach the Bengali people, one of the largest unreached people groups. Contact Paul if you want to extend your congregation’s vision.
• Paul needs ongoing fresh wisdom to finish this good-sized book.
• Paul is learning to pray more for our family, as part of being a good, godly Father.
• Our daughter and son-in-law (Christy and Elias) will be moving locally. They are seeking the right place to rent or buy.
