What does Philippians 1:6 mean when Paul says that God began a good work—and will bring it to completion? In this Bible message, Pastor Paul J. Bucknell traces God’s gracious beginnings in Philippi and shows why His mission often advances through small steps, closed doors, and ordinary believers.
Part 1 of “Mission’s Great Beginning and Glorious End” explores two truths: (1) God Has a Great Plan; (2) God Uses Little Things. Drawing from Philippians 1:1–6 and Acts 16, we follow Paul’s redirection toward Macedonia, the beginning of the church in Philippi, and lessons about trusting the Lord’s guidance.
Pastor Bucknell also reflects on the beginnings of Biblical Foundations for Freedom (BFF) and 25 years of God’s faithfulness. Be encouraged to recognize God’s work even when the results are not yet visible.
Scriptures: Philippians 1:1–6; Acts 16:6–40; 1 John 4:19.
