EQUIP!

Dear Prayer Partners, June 2, 2026

Looking back at these 25 years, the word EQUIP summarizes our work well:

Edify: Share God’s truth from the Scriptures to strengthen believers’ faith everywhere, especially Christian leaders.

Quicken: May the Holy Spirit awaken His people to the significance of His truth.

Unite: Seeking to unite believers around Christ and His Word to complete God’s commission.

International: We aim to expand access to God’s word by making it available to people worldwide.

Prayerfully: You and I prayerfully seek God to transform His people worldwide to help them become attentive to God’s work within them through His Word.

I’m amazed by God’s work... every day. This past week, we expanded our roughly 80 Burmese web pages and launched a Burmese podcast. On Saturday, our book, "Life in the Spirit,” was translated into Amharic (Ethiopia), though still needs a bit of editing. We also reworked our very old Deuteronomy audio and video recordings. I added Relational Discipleship to our BFF website course listing.

Part of this progress is due to newer computers that can more easily edit, manipulate, and save these large files. Another part is because of AI’s assistance, which has significantly improved in accuracy and speed over the last six months, but overall, it is God who calls, guides, and strengthens.

The path to EQUIP the nations is getting clearer, and God is taking me at a much faster pace! Those are fantastic answers to prayers! Thank you!

Praise

Thank the Lord for the grace to speak in Chinese. It’s like bringing up a past life. The night I asked Linda to pray for me, I had a dream all in Chinese - (maybe I shouldn’t mention the part where I couldn’t come up with an answer on marriage!) The church wants me to speak more regularly, every 1-2 months, starting in August through the end of the year..
I am fascinated by how God grows things differently in the garden. I learn so much about Christian life through the study of growth seen in creation.
I’ve completed teaching and recording the videos for the Relational Discipleship - Cross Training series. I added them to a new free course on our BFF website, and it has also become an audio podcast.
Our Chinese and Burmese free books and resources are now in rebuilt webpages. In the past, I spent endless hours trying to use the Burmese font properly. What a world of difference now with AI’s assistance.

Pray

Pray for wisdom in prioritizing the many tasks, short- and long-term, including the start of recording training videos for the upcoming course, The Church In All Her Glory.
Pray for EQUIP impact! We are living in the last days.
This year, we are strengthening the foundation to build upon it. The old website has been rebuilt and is quite manageable, though I still find pages needing more refinement.
Pray for the international coworkers as Paul dialogues and works with them. One wants to hold a BFF seminar, and the other wants me to speak virtually (both in India).
Paul is taking an in-person course on The Dead Sea Scrolls at the local seminary in January.
