BFF Celebrates 20 Years!

Dear Prayer Partners,

Twenty years ago, in November 2000, the Lord launched BFF by inspiring Paul who, was desperately seeking God’s leading, with a vision. BFF’s first web pages appeared in January 2001 (our first prayer letter). How simplistic the web looked back then, compared to today’s standards. BFF’s development, however, has grown by piggybacking on progress in technology and the internet/social media worlds. God knew the importance of distributing biblical training resources worldwide when calling Paul to this ministry.

Originally, the BFF board discussed holding a banquet to celebrate God’s grand ways of working through BFF. We thank the Lord for all of you who have joined our giving, advisory, and prayer teams along the way. We praise the Lord for you! We wouldn’t have been able to do it without you.

BFF’s vast biblical resources find ongoing value in searchable and discoverable search engines around the world. (Search here for ad-free resources from both websites!) We praise the Lord for making our fruit remain, Jesus said, “‘You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain…’” (John 15:16).

Some of you have written to ask about our address. We prefer to have our mail sent to our mailing address in NC below. Regular BFF donations by mail can be sent to the BFF office. Online donations work the same as before!

Thankful for God’s Almighty hand to lead and provide for BFF for 20 years!
Awesome time with our family here before the Covid strike (see picture in video).
Paul’s new mini-series: Teaching Bible Books is 2/3 completed.
For a great BFF board meeting.
Thankful for ongoing publications and progress on one of my upcoming books.
Grateful to be settled here at the beautiful retreat center for the time being.

Pray

Upload speeds for our internet are worsening (.25 mbps), negatively affecting productivity.
Still praying for future direction and relationship with the CLRC retreat center.
Pray for financial giving as donations have been way down.
Pray for God’s rebirth, renewal, revival when people visit the website or Center.
On January 9th, I have an opportunity to train the newly elected leadership team at a Chinese Church (in English).
